Shaun Mundy is Head of the Consumer Communication Department at the FSA.

Shaun has been a financial services regulator since 1991, working for Lautro and PIA before becoming a member of the project team which set up the FSA. At the FSA, he has headed up departments responsible for supervising building societies, credit unions and some banks; for overhauling insurance regulation; and for preparing for the authorisation and supervision of mortgage and general insurance firms.

Before that, he worked in the Home Office and the Cabinet Office.
